My intention is to briefly share about my professional background and the services I offer.

My intention is to meet each client with open curiosity and, together, skilfully guide them to discover their current patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving, and collaboratively sculpt new patterns for them to choose to follow to ensure their emotional needs are consistently met. I bring my enthusiasm and passion for helping to each and every session. 

Certified Schema Therapist offering Schema Therapy and clinical psychology services: Online and In-person  (clinic located in Mill Park, a suburb in north-eastern Melbourne, near South Morang, Bundoora, Mernda, Epping, Lalor, Watsonia)

· mindfulness meditation (since 2016, a qualified teacher in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction from the University of Massachusetts Medical School’s Centre for Mindfulness)

My professional interests and work experiences are broad. 

Since 2019, I have served as a psychologist in private practice in the northern suburbs of Melbourne (initially at Headspace and Gold Psychology then as a sole trader since 2020). 

Since 2017, I have worked as a Research Assistant at Northern Health (previously North Western Mental Health) with an appointment as an Honorary Research Fellow in the School of Psychology and Public Health at La Trobe University. 

Before moving to Australia in 2017 from the United States, I served as an assistant professor in a Doctor in Psychology (Psy.D.) program in Clinical Psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association. 

I previously worked in a private practice in South Florida offering direct clinical care to children, adolescents and adults diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive spectrum conditions and anxiety disorders, and provided health psychology assessment and interventions to adults and older adults as part of multi-disciplinary treatment teams in public medical centre settings.

All appointments run for about 50 minutes.

Many clients access my services with a Mental Health Care Plan developed with their GP which grants access to up to 10 Medicare-rebated sessions per calendar year (Medicare rebate of $137.05 per session). There will be an out-of-pocket cost when accessing sessions using a Mental Health Care Plan as I unfortunately do not offer Bulk Bill appointments.
